SMART GROWTH TUTORING
personalized, families-first tutoring in Kitchener-Waterloo

Mentorship

I offer peer support to students of all ages, from Grade 1 through post-secondary. I work with families to provide support and assistance to children and young people in a variety of ways and for diverse reasons.

A mentor-mentee relationship can provide a positive role model for a child or young person, a chance to explore the community with a buddy, and a space to build trust and self-confidence.

Parents and guardians can choose what they would like their child's mentoring sessions to focus on. I have been asked to be a mentor for a number of reasons, that include:

-
Bringing tutoring to life (real-life experiences to encourage learning difficult subjects)
-
Expanding social skills through community outings
-
Picking high school and university courses
-
Being a healthy role model for young women
-
Developing life skills, such as riding the bus, cooking a small meal, managing money
Mentorship is more affordable than you think! My rate is $20/hr, with sessions typically lasting 2-3 hours, once or twice a month.
